Even with classes not in session while we visited, it was still very impressive. All the history and stories of the many important graduates, especially George C. Marshall and worth learning about

The difference between Washington & Lee's Federal-style (neoclassical) architecture and VMI's fort-like appearance, complete with crenellations along the top of the main buildings, provides a fascinating contrast. The Friday military parades on the grounds in front of the barracks are impressive. The cadets you meet...More

It was a pleasure to walk around campus and look at the impressive buildings. I am very proud of the students who make a commitment to this institution and who continue the important legacy so many of the graduates have made to our nation's history.

Museum very interesting. We took the noon tour with a cadet. Impressive young man who told us about the school. Driving into the campus was quite a sight to see since the buildings are huge.

I was simply touring Lexington. This is in Lexington so I had to visit. A very lovely campus with great structures, a few statues and museums.
