Horses and wine - what more do you want in VA?

Lovely winery created out of an old foxhunting barn. It has a great atmosphere, and the fields around it still sport the horse fencing. The wines were lovely, created and... read more

It's a small vineyard with a small tasting room. The outdoor space is lovely and a good place for a picnic. I wasn't excited about any of the actual wines, but the wine slushies were delicious. Something different to break up the tasting of just wine.

From the minute we walked into the tasting room until we left I had a wonderful relaxed, unrushed feeling. We arrived around 12:45 pm on a Sunday. The owner conducted our tasting. For VA wines, most very delicious, none left an uneasy aftertaste. The baguette was delicious and the recommendation of cheese was highly appreciated. The scenery was peaceful and... More

Gorgeous property and you got horses... try the French bread and Irish cheddar. The wines are totally amazing and well priced. I think it's a hidden jewel in Leesburg area wineries. It's about 40 minutes from vienna va. So plan on coming back in the future.

Lovely winery created out of an old foxhunting barn. It has a great atmosphere, and the fields around it still sport the horse fencing. The wines were lovely, created and bottled right on site. They have some more popular wines, like chardonnay, as well as grapes more local to VA. They do have some cheese/meats/cracker plates if you want a... More

The wines were very nice. The tasting room wasn't as spacious as the other two wineries we visited in the area, and it was crowded. After sampling some of the wines, I bought a glass and some cheese and crackers and we sat outside on the covered patio. It was a pleasant hour and I recommend the wines.

When I arrived at the tasting room, there was a bridal party waiting for their special tasting in an upstairs room. There was only one person helping them all pay and thus I had to wit a while. Then all through the tasting, they just loitered in the room waiting for their host. The tasting itself was okay. The wines... More

I like the family-owned intimate feel of this winery. The wines are really good (my favorite is their Sweet Stallion). The staff in the tasting room are very nice people and they take good care of you during your tasting.

We went for the memorial day holiday and it was very busy. We didn't mind as we expected it, but there wasn't much we enjoyed. It was a tiny tasting room with a few tables to enjoy a glass and some seating outside. The wine was alright, not a huge fan of any of them. Nor did we dislike them,... More

We've done a lot of wine tastings and usually go home with one bottle that we both love. I would've bought a bottle of everything if I could have. Their merlot is unique and though we are mostly dry red fans, their rose is great, especially paired with sushi. Cute old stable turned into a gorgeous tasting room with a... More

Tastings for only $5? YES. Wine slushies? YES. Warm baguettes for only $3? YES. I had a hard time taking a place with a wine slushie seriously, but let me say, the slushies were delicious! Dry Mill was significantly less crowded than the Vineyard we had just traveled from, which was a huge plus. The woman pouring our tasting was... More
