The Pumpkin Village experience (October) is GREAT for little kids...! Skip the pony rides (really for very small kids) and do the Camel Ride (only on the Weekend...!) Lots of slides, bouncy areas, kiddie ziplining and velcro hatchet throwing...! See all the animals (but be sure to buy animal food inside--- unless you have quarters for the dispensers). When you are done--- Buy pumpkins or gourds from the connected pumpkin area--- and consider the pumpkin butter, on the cashier's shack shelves...! Weekend mornings are best (less crowded)--- You and the kids will need to wear a mask (the park's felines can catch COVID and it is a good safety practice for everyone). And you should get a morning pass the day before--- since their are visitor limits...

Love this place. Zoo keepers super knowledgeable and fun. The porcupines are great even if they aren’t from this country! This attraction is wonderful and a great way to spend a few hours. It seems they have great kid camps if Covid wasn’t a thing.

When my wife got this idea to visit Leesburg Animal Park, my thoughts were not so positive. I thought of high prices, not a lot of animals, and a waste of money. I could think of many other ways to blow that amount of money and get a bigger bang for the buck. Well, here's the reality. Yes, it seemed a little...more than a little pricey for admission for a few adults and a bunch of grandkids. But these 3 and 4 year olds were entertained for nearly an entire day at this place. There were so many different activities to do, running around, pretend milking, petting, climbing. They really seemed to have a great time. And then all the animals. So from morning til almost closing these little ones were kept happy and playing. It was a wonderful day. Not cheap, but definitely full for the kids.

About the only place around to see farm animals and more nearby but special events like their pumpkinville are always super crowded and by the time you add on food or extras to feed the animals it is very expensive.

I’ve been treating my grandchildren for several years. A bit on the pricey side, it feels good in light of the apparent care of the animals, streadfast upgrades to the grounds, play areas for the kids, and variety of displays.
