About
Year-round indoor skiing and snowboarding on a large infinite slope. A professional instructor controls the speed and the pitch of the slope as the rider progresses. A mirror at the base and the instructor provide immediate feedback. All equipment provided and reservations are required. Important COVID-19 Update: Please wear a mask at all times and observe 6 feet of social distancing. Group lessons must be from the same household. All other lessons must be booked and billed as a private. Lessons are available every other hour to allow us to sanitize between students. Please limit extra spectators to 2.

I have found this to be a great way to improve my skiing and my endurance. It is like a large skiing treadmill.
It makes the first day on snow so much more fun and a much better use of travel time and money.
Also really helpful in building my daughter's confidence and getting her friends that have never skied before into skiing.
The instructors are all PSIA so it is far cheaper than getting ski lessons on the mountain.
You need to book ahead, especially with limited COVID's limiting capacity.
Instructors Scott and Erica are terrific. Tip them well.
The boot fitters there are by far the best in the Mid-Atlantic, probably the East Coast. Brian does amazing things with your boots and watches you on the treadmill and helps you make adjustments.

I can't say enough positive things about Inside Ski. I was here throughout the off season working with Scott to stay in shape and to improve my form. The instruction was top notch and well as a lot of fun. The team here really took the time and effort to get to know me and my skiing. I was able to really improve my skiing and understand what I was doing to produce that improvement. Now that it's winter, I successfully transitioned from skiing on carpet back to snow. It did require an adjustment but after a few times on the slopes, I could really see the improvement. I am most satisfied with my experience here, and would certainly recommend Inside Ski to anyone who wants to take their skiing to the next level!

First lesson was very good for my teens who never skied before. It was taught step-by-step and they had a good grasp of techniques by the end of the first lesson. I bought a 4-pack lesson so the teens will be ready to ski and snowboard when we go to a ski resort.

The instructors at the Inside Ski Training Center were incredibly patient with our kids. They provided personal, detailed lessons tailored to our kids’ needs, and the twins gained so much confidence. We highly recommend this center and felt it was well worth the money!

I have been skiing since I was 15. Before our visit to Inside Ski Training, I had tried two previous times to take/get my wife skiing. Both times ended up with her frustrated, exhausted and hurt! So I decided to take my wife for round three along with my 17y.o. daughter and two 11 y.o. daughters. We went to the Inside Ski Training Center the day before we drive up to the mountains to ski. I will tell you, it's a must! Trust the process!!! The Manager/Trainer was phenomenal! They covered the simplest task from how to walk on a hill in Ski boots all the way up to turns, stops etc. They even had a mock Ski lift. The first time down the indoor hill I saw the fear return to my wife's face (like ptsd from her previous attempts). The Manager calmed her down, built trust and within just a few minutes has her sliding confidently down that hill! Getting to understand the movements and feel the feedback was invaluable. We plan to do it every year before we hit the mountain just to get a little practice/warm up before going now! Side note, when we actually went skiing, my wife made a left turn (right on to a Blue slope/intermediate slope) when we all went right. I was worried sick. We all caught up about 30 minutes later and to my surprise she made it down! First real time skiing!! She admitted she was chanting to herself the entire time the mantras the Inside Ski Trainer kept telling her, (work your turns, lean into your boots, trust the process) and it got her down safe! She went skiing on the mountain several days and not once did she even fall on the Ski lift. Mind you our last attempt (prior to Indoor Training) I had to hold her by the neck of her jacket as she dangled there like a marionette puppet to get her down the Ski lift hill when unloading otherwise she would dive for the ground. So truly impressed. Well worth your time and money. Our kids hit the mountain like champs because of this training. Even my chicken little. She popped right up and went at it. Having a safe calm indoor place to practice made all the difference. I feel it allowed my crew to listen without all the distractions and build skills without the intimidation of the 1000'+ vertical mountain drop looming over them. If I lived closer I would be in there on my regular to train and work out! They have many levels offered there.

After a year of not going skiing anywhere due the pandemic, it was refreshing to be able to get an appointment at Inside Ski. It's not exactly like skiing on the frictionless mountains that you are likely used to but it can be a good workout. I'm just glad that I was able to put my ski legs to use again, even if we had to start over with learning how to wedge on this machine. I would recommend this to anyone interested in skiing. I had a private lesson with Scott and he was great. I'll be booking more lessons in the future. Looking forward to getting parallel on the machine.

Excellent first ski lesson for my 6 y.o. son. Instructor was amazing with him, clearly has experience working with and training kids. Taught how to safely put on/off bindings without getting pinched, carrying skis, walking up the slope with and without skis on, and then proper stance for skiing down the slope. Because it was his first time ever on skis, they used the 'stationary' slope. We went skiing on snow 3 days later and my son did great and loved skiing. Will definitely be back as my younger kids are ready for lessons.

Yes, we have LOTS of experience teaching kids, and Inside Ski is a great place for them to have their first lessons. Its warm, dry, and focused, so kids absorb more information in a shorter period of time. So glad he had a great experience his first time on snow! We look forward to meeting your other children! We had a wonderful experience with Nancy and Erica. They are both wonderful teachers and very patient. It was my kids' first time on skis and I'm so glad they had the chance to learn and practice in a caring and non-competitive environment. We highly recommend Inside Ski Training Center to prepare for an upcoming ski trip!!

I am so glad Inside Ski is open again! This is a great business and an effective way to learn or maintain your snow boarding or skiing technique. My most recent lesson was my third snow boarding lesson and I can feel myself improving thanks to Inside Ski and my instructor there. He gave me great pointers and seemed to know the right instruction to provide in order to help me. I can’t wait to go back!

I don’t usually write reviews but the service I received was impeccable! I booked a private single snowboard lesson and I wish I could have booked more. I appreciated Gaby’s patience and encouragement! She explained the techniques simply, observed me and gave constructive advice on how to improve. Gaby was even patient as my husband asked questions!! I have never been snowboarding and I am not as young as others who are learning so I think the lessons provided by Inside Ski Training Center are unbeatable. I hope to take more lessons in the future - I would have booked another lesson on the spot but they were completely booked!!!
Oh and I appreciated the fact that they were cautious and decided to close due to a potential covid scare but were kind enough to find a way to fit me in once they received the all clear!
