Keswick Vineyards is a family owned and operated winery situated on the historic Edgewood Estate. Owners Al and Cindy Schornberg chose this land to produce their award winning wines because of its unique terroir and beautiful scenery. Winemaker Stephen Barnard's philosophy is to focus on quality instead of quantity and produce the best wines possible. He has garnered numerous awards for Keswick's wines including the Virginia Governor's Cup for the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon and Best of Class for the 2008 Viognier. Other varietals produced include Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Norton, Petite Verdot, Syrah, Touriga, and Verdejo. The tasting room is relaxing and inviting and is open daily for tastings from 9-5 excluding major holidays. During the summer, the tasting room will stay open until 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

My family recently went around the Monticello wine trail for my 21st birthday. We did around 6 wineries in 2 days (Bull Run, Blenheim, Trump, Keswick, Barboursville, and Jefferson), with this one being the second to the last... and our least favorite. First, at the other 5 wineries we got to keep the wine glasses. At Keswick, the tasting price... More

We (4 of us) sampled 6 different wineries this weekend. We rated this one #6. While the drive up the driveway through the vineyard is beautiful, our experience was not up to par with the other vineyards we visited this weekend. I guess my first hint should have been that the winery was not very busy. I am not too... More

We had a lovely visit recently and highly recommend a visit. The staff were super and very knowledgeable and so friendly. We found a wine which we loved during the wine tasting and enjoyed a bottle on the pretty patio before we left.

Nested in verdant forest, the tasting room was cool in the heat of the day. Enjoyed the Les Vents d'Anges 2015 (red table wine) and Chardonnay. Nice ground with picnic tables - more comfortable and exclusive seating for wine club members.

We're currently at Keswick Vineyard with a large group. The views when sitting out at the picnic tables are nice. There, unfortunately wasn't much of a view from where our group was dropped off for a tasting session. It was basically picnic tables set up in a row in the mulch area where they dropped us off before getting to... More

Very good wines, especially the reds. The tasting room is kind of small and no indoor seating so best to come here when its really nice outside. Best part of all is that they're dog friendly! There is a small fenced area under many trees you can let your dog get out some energy. It could use a raking every... More

My wife and I traveled to "wine country" last month and visited Keswick after a friend recommended it. We had a very nice visit; the wine was very good and the pourers were friendly and informative. This was our first trip to this winery (we've been to others in the area) and we will be back.

Lovely staff. Very similar tasting wines to other nearby wineries - and all very good. The new sparkling ones were not great. The Petit Verdot, however was a real and surprising stand-out. Go here!

We happened on this winery as we traveled through the area. We enjoy visiting vineyards and wineries so we gladly stopped when we saw the signs. The vineyards make a beautiful entrance to the wine tasting building. It was a Friday morning and we luckily had the wine tasting room to ourselves. We were greeted as soon as we entered... More

The $10 tasting fee is one of the more expensive the area. It might have been palatable if it included the glass, but that was another $10. Wow, really?? The wines were ok, but we probably wouldn't have tried them if we knew the tasting fee was that high.
