Rappahannock Cellars truly has it all. The wine is excellent, with all ingredients sourced directly from their location. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. The location is gorgeous, being tucked right next to a small mountain gave us that rural Virginia feel, with a view. We would highly recommend signing up for their cellar tour and tasting. What better... More

From the day we first visited while wine tasting in the area, to when we joined the club, the staff, many of whom are children of the owner, have treated us like family. Tom and Tessa are especially welcoming and the wine club room is like an airline business lounge but with great table service. They are opening another club... More

Tastings are $10 each, which we thought rather steep compared to other areas we have visited. We opted to share a tasting, which covered about 6 wines, none of which were really to our liking. Wines start at $24 and up a bottle. Did not tour, as raining. We did get a military discount of 50% on the tasting, making... More

We stopped by Rappahannock Cellars after spending the day driving Skyline Drive. Tasting room - The tasting room is a nice average sized room, with a side room for wine club members. There are some vineyards surrounding the tasting room. An OK view, but nothing exceptional. Wines - We thought the Vx2 blend and Chardonnay were so so. Did not... More

Visited with a friend on a weekday afternoon. Building and grounds beautiful and inviting. Lots of outdoor deck seating. Interesting to watch part of the wine making process from indoor windows. Staff gracious and accommodating. Wines superior. Cheese tray had a delicious variety of cheeses. When I returned home, my Greek husband was impressed with the Greek olive oil I... More

We recently visited this winery. The tasting room is spacious, the grounds are pretty, and a picnic area is available close to the winery and has a view of the vineyards. There is food available at the winery, and there was also a local food truck on-site (which actually had some excellent lunch items). They have a nice selection of... More

My husband and I reserved a tour zof the Rappahannock Vineyard and Winery on their website and we were so excited for our very first vineyard experience! We were not disappointed at all! Our tour guide, Seth, explained the wine making process so vividly and showed us every machine and barrel to make the production happen. And I must mention... More

Enjoyed our visit to this winery on a weekday. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Many different types of wines, all of which were tasty. We are red lovers and their Cab Franc and Port were our favorites. Yeah for Virginia Red Wines!
