Aslin Beer Co. has a takeout location in Herndon with a new tasting room under construction. Their brewing facility and tasting room is now in Alexandria. You can get takeout cans at both locations. Many people have stood in line for this beer and rightly so because it’s amazing! Great IPA’S Stouts, Sours and Pilsners-there always something for everyone. Their ability to make great combinations for the utmost flavor is their forte. The food truck in Alexandria has a rotating menu so it’s never the same old thing for food options. Definitely worth the trip to Alexandria. But if you just want great tasting beer right in Herndon- just pop in for some takeout. Looking forward to their new tasting room in Herndon when it opens.

Less than a week after opening. Clean nano-brewery and 7 beers available. Need flights (choose 4 of 7) and they're put on a wooden plate of the state of Virginia to carry as they have 4 holes for the tasting glasses. Nice descriptions on each beer. Nice bar area and plain metal barstools. People in training yet. No information to take home etc. Walls need some decorations. The second TV needs to be on. There was music, but could barely hear on speakers. One TV was on, but no sound or closed caption. Picnic table seating and standing tables. Concrete floor, that could use some kind of astro turf or indoor outdoor carpet and will get cold during winter. The 4 beers I choose were well crafted. Some of the information written on back wall was confusing. No mention of any extra things such as joining their beer club or frequent card. Nice glass goblet of hops on table. I'll be back, but they need to do a few things and make it more informative, and add some things. I'll give them time to work out the kinks.

We stopped by to grab several versions of cans. Lots of IPAs when we went; only one sour. We would definitely visit a taproom if one opens.

Food and beverage good...ambiance a zero. A very industrial location with tents out back and LOTS and LOTS of flies.

Smashburger was tasty, but overpriced at $16. It was a good $10-$12 burger that two of us shared. The $9 Sicilian slice was all bread and not worth a dime. Beer was good.

The worst of it, though, was the noise. The picture of the tasting room suggests a place with a few people well spaced. Reality is a bit different, and if you have a group nearby, it gets to 100+ decibels very quickly.

Not a fan.

Friendly owners and excellent beer. The owners encourage patrons to bring food or order from several local places that deliver to help complete your evening. The casual atmosphere and the industrial look blend nicely.

These guys make amazing beer. Can’t wait for their new tasting room to open. As far as their current location goes, it was easy to get in and out while picking up cans. Everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Was able to visit this place back when their Sunset Park location was an open tasting room. Has developed a reputation among whale hunters in the beer world so expect long lines if you show up for a can release. Very focused on sours and hazy NE IPAs but have since started a barrel program.

Enjoyed my visits when they were open to the public, look forward to them having a public space again.

Tucked away in Sunset Park in Aslin, a small nano-brewery that opened its doors a little over a year ago. For such a small space, they've done a good job of being to churn out some terrific Brown Ales and IPAs. This has become the main microbrewery for the small city of Herndon, and is worth your support! Definitely put this on your brewery list.

Tucked into a complex with a dance studio and a fish store, this brewery is tough to find but is a pure gem. Great beer and staff. We packed a bunch of food since they don't serve food and had a great time.
