Recommended by friends and family - we went for a tasting and discovered an experience! It is a charming building with lots of history and one can't help but feel you're visiting a place of history. Our taster was informative and guided us to some great wines. Our nephew had advised us to contact Ross when we arrived, we did... More

This is definitely a stop for those interested in unique boutique style wines. We sampled some unique styles and grapes that we hadn't come across before. I won't spoil it with a description, however is was all good. Very nice for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary. There were also some dangerously smooth Sangrias to try out. We... More

wasn't happy to hear that our local owners sold to a Chinese group but the location of La Grange is so beautiful especially in the fall!! we had our daughters baptism party in the barrel room and it was such fun.

I was driving up to this winery on Mother's Day to meet my mother and some other family members there. I was pretty excited because I had never been to this winery before. I live about an hour and a half away from Haymarket. Once I got closer to the winery I noticed a long line of cars waiting to... More

We spend LOTS of time at vineyards & wineries. This one is at the very bottom of our list, never to return. We intended to meet with our kids and grandkids for Mother's day, and called off the event because this place doesn't understand business. The tables were all reserved for club members only. My wife wanted to try a... More

This really is one of my favorite Virginia Wineries. We love it so much that we became wine club members. All of the wines are very good and the grounds and house are beautiful!

This winery has a wonderful location, the building is interesting and historical. The wines here are very good, but also quite expensive. The whole place has a relaxed vibe except when it comes to the wine they tend to be a bit snobby, which turns me off. I've visited nearly 10 times and will certainly return.

The setting is lovely and the outside seating a pleasant place to picnic and sample the wine. There is shaded lawn seating as well as patio seating. With wine tastings, you either need a designated driver or a hired car and driver. You can get nice picnic/wine snacks such as various cheeses and fruit. If you want more substantial fare... More
