Easy to find, clean beach with restrooms, showers and playground. Very safe. Parking is difficult on the weekend but worth the hassle. A definite must for people with children.

This was easy to get to and the water was just like VA Beach. It did have rocks right on shore and pier but less crowded. And way better than having to drive through that traffic of the tunnel.

It was a nice beach with plenty of parking, bath rooms, ice cream truck driving thru every 10 minutes. Plenty of space so you aren't sitting on top of each other. It gets a little sketch once the sun starts setting so I don't recommend...More

A very small but quaint beach. It does have a fishing pier. No activities for children. A great spot for those who want to be at the beach but avoid the hustle and bustle of Virginia Beach.

It is a nice beach if you don't want to travel to VA beach. Art in the part was this weekend and there were a lot of activities.

I loved the beach and the park! great waves, and sandy area! I have never suffered from sunburn on all my visits to USA beaches, but this visit was so phenomenal that I didn't want to get out of the water!

They are a few miles apart, so by car would take about 5-6 minutes. There are smaller beaches right at Fort Monroe as well. Fort Monroe is also great to walk around or even go fishing.
