This specific trail was not very scenic and a good portion of it runs along interstate 64. Try the other trails, they seem to be more scenic and well kept.

Used this place for an employee picnic. Grounds were OK. I was surprised when we were asked to remove balloons - they dont allow balloons in the park. The picnic table was well kept and the grill was somewhat clean.

Very nice park for walking, bird watching, children's play areas, picnic tables, camping, and much more. Be sure to stop by the Visitors Center for a list of all there is to do in this wonderful park.

Great place to see animals in their natural habitat. Make sure you stop in to see the live snakes in the visitors center.

A nice secluded place surrounded by trees. Great to get away from the city life. We went to see a movie and came right across the street to enjoy the playground and friendly squirrels. Clean bathrooms and clean park.

A local favorite for hiking, kayaking, camping. Be sure to stop by the nature center where you'll meet some of the residents of the park.

I enjoy running the trails here and taking my toddler to the park. There is also a dog park with two separate areas (big and small). It's a great place to come in the spring and fall when the weather isn't so humid or cold.

I think we spend half our time here, on just about any day of the year (weather permitting of course) my son is a huge animal adventure-thanks Wild Kratts! We always go looking for a new bird, or to see the turtles. Last time we...More
