I mostly take advantage of the great kayak launch behind the attraction. It is well-maintained and easy to use. Sometimes heavy rains can cause the access road to flood, which is inconvenient. The exhibits could use some more maintenance/updating, but they're neat to look at regardless.

Been many years since the last visit. ..not much has changed. Shame the city can't devote some time in caring for these aircraft. Windscreen on the Phantom was torn away from the frame....some vandalism apparent on others. Security gates torn off the hinges on some. Obviously no one cares. Some of these jets are rare, and deserve better!

Interesting collection of military jet aircraft and rockets, in particular interesting due to its connection to Langley AFB and the early history of US space programs at Langley. Unfortunately heavily neglected and air crafts in extreme poor condition. Seems that somebody gave the preference to a fancy museum nearby instead of taking care of the real authentic artifacts close to... More

This is a small aviation museum and is free to walk around. There are models and history information inside and several large aircraft outside. Worth a visit if your trying to kill some time.

Lots of Aircraft and rockets to look at, a walking path to see them all. The plus is the kids area which will keep the younger ones busy, Fun to do on a Nice day, a great place for Vets.

Stop by and get a chance to see these older airplanes and rockets up close and personal. Attached plaques inform you of what they are

The planes were really cool even if they are a bit neglected. Being able to walk right up, and even under, some of them was a lot of fun. Sure it is small and a bit run down, but it is free.

On our trip to Hampton we stopped here before heading back home and we were excited to see these amazing displays both on the inside and outside and it's all free! Which makes it even more worth visiting. We took lots of pictures and the receptionist at the front desk was also very nice and welcolming!
