We spent 4.5 hours and did not see/do everything. The IMAX shows were incredible, displays were amazing, and storyboards were excellent! There was something for every age. We plan on returning next week with our 3 & 4 year old granddaughters! We enjoyed it so...More

Not being a big fan of space I was skeptical about going to the center but after watching Hidden Figures, I was curious. We traveled with a friend that assured me that I would have a good time and might even learn something new. We...More

They have really updated this museum with some pretty fun and educational offerings that are STEM-related and interactive for kids of all ages (and adults!) From the huge planes hanging from the ceiling to the video games and make believe play areas, one can feel...More

For the price of admission, the exhibits need more work. Several exhibits were closed, many screens didn’t respond, and any craft stations that required crayons/paper/materials were empty. I was disappointed by the quality of the museum.

Not aware that Virginia and Langley played such a large role in our space program. In addition to displays and artifacts there are multiple interactive things for children and adults to do. Not just history but our space program looking to the future. Very entertaining.

It seems obvious that some of the display elements are aging. Still, the museum has some fascinating holdings that are worthy of the visit. On top of the museum, the 3D IMAX theater provides 50-minute viewings on a variety of subjects so be sure to...More

The museum is more a place of discovery, aerospace engineering, and science than a aviation museum -- but the aircraft they have on display are fantastic. A great place to take a kid who is interested in aviation, space, and science.

I chaperoned a field trip here with my nephews 4th grade classes. The program was good but the children really loved the self guided tour/scavenger hunt that had them explore the exhibits. The best was the imax films on Hurricane, I thought the kids would...More

It is a like a mini version of the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. A few cool aviation exhibits and an IMAX theater. If your in Hampton this is probably the best attraction.

The previous answer is wrong. This is not the Smithsonian in Washington. Tickets are $19 for adults. I’d suggest you consult their website for the most accurate information.
