Visited this museum on the way to Visit VA Beach. This was a wonderful experience for the kids and we enjoyed ourselves as well. There are a lot of interactive exhibits.

This is really a museum catering to the very young >6 and early-teen (11-14). There area number of interactive exhibits. Young kids can build things with blocks while older kids can read and do some of the basic experiments. Parents are mildly amused, but mostly help their kids. It has an attached Imax Theater which is very nice. You can... More

We stopped late on a very hot day and was able to just make the last Imax movie about National Parks. It was a wonderful documentary in a comfortable theatre. We had only paid to go into the Imax so we left afterwards but the museum looked very interesting. We will return.

The Center offers a lot of activities and historical items to look at if you are interested in NASA and aviation history. The 3D Imax theater was very nice. I would recommend the movie on America's National Park System. Lot's of family and kid oriented activities.

We went for an afternoon and enjoyed it so much we got a family pass for the next year. Our youngest, 5 years old, was only interested in the movies and the play areas. The older kids loved it all! We saw the National Parks movie and enjoyed it, already planning our next visit.

We had a cloudy morning so decided to check out the Virginia Air & Space Center. They had a number of very cool spacecraft and airplanes. We got there when it opened, so it wasn't crowded at all, making it easy to get up close and read about the items. They also had a lot of interactive stuff -- my... More

My 13 yr old son and I visited for the 1st time Wed. Aug 10, 2016. He loves Military and things related to flight. He had a great time and enjoyed the exibits that were hands-on. For this center I would say ages 8 & up. If younger I think they will get bored as the subject material will be... More

Largely made possible by NASA, this is a very nice little air and space museum. There are a number of great artifacts, both aeronautical and space related. Many hands on things for children as well. It is very much worth the take in.

Science, Space, and Planes are a passion of mine. Every since I was in school, I wanted to be an Astronaut and a fighter pilot. But, I am to short for being a fighter pilot and ultimately before I could get started in the Air Force, I was struck with Multiple Sclerosis. Every since, I've lived vicariously through NASA tv...
