Small town Appalachia.....at the foothills. Grand Caverns is a beautiful little cave. Formations are unique and the cave is less commercially developed than most. Grottoes is a hidden gem.

I have been to the Shenandoah Caverns I've been to the Luray Caverns and the Grottoes are definitely a must-see if you're visiting the Massanutten area.

Matt did an awesome job showing us the cavern. It was much bigger than Lurray with lots of shields. Not very crowded so we had a very detailed tour. We will definitely go back again. Lots of other activities for families like a pool, miniature...More

Hugh rock formations. Nature in it's glory. Worth visiting. Wear good shoes and bring a light jacket.

The military price is $17.50 per person for EVERYONE in the same party. Otherwise it it $20.00 per adult. The caverns are 1.25 miles long and all walking. Pictures are allowed The caverns are not wheelchair or handicap friendly. Our tour guide was very good...More

Grand Caverns was AMAZING!!!! Very kid friendly, great value. Our tour guide Jeffrey was OUTSTANDING! Oxford trained, his Tour was well informed with a good blend of humor! He opened our eyes to this great wonder of the world!!! We will be back!
