Great wines, fantastic service, knowledgeable owners, educational visit. First stop on any winetasting trip in the northern Shenandoah Valley, VA MUST include the Glen Manor Vineyards. Bag a picnic lunch, purchase a top-quality wine from these folks, and spend an hour or two on the grounds. You will not be disappointed! PS. Stop at the Elements Restaurant in Front Royal for your lunch-to-go. The gourmet food pairs nicely with all of Glen Manor's selections.

The wines here just keep getting better and better. Jeff and Kelly do a great job. We live two miles away and visit several times each year. The Sauvignon Blanc and St. Ruth are my favorites. Jeff adds nothing to the wines--no sugar, no tannins, just wine. The setting is also lovely!

We selected Glen Manor because it was the most convenient for our itinerary and the website looked intriguing. Having arrived late morning, we were fortunate to have Kelly's sole attention for some time before it began to get busy. She was delightful and engaging as well as knowledgeable, and we enjoyed our time there very much. It was fun to... More

I admit to having had reservations about going to Glen Manor Vineyards and paying for a wine tasting where the establishment chooses the wines you sample. I do not like red wines, and only 2 whites were listed. We were greeted by Ashleigh White, the vintner's wife. She is very sociable and made us feel very welcomed. We were given... More

We have visited Glen Manor twice and have joined the wine club. We have visited lots of wineries across the country and it is by far our favorite winery in Virginia. Wonderful wines with a true nod to farming and authentic wine making. Kelly, one of the owners, works the tasting room and does the most in depth and knowledgable... More

The most memorable visit in Front Royal and a great overall experience. Where to begin. The location is beautiful. The setting for this young vineyard (est. circa 1995) is outstanding. The tasting room is well laid out and comfy. Kudos to Ashley, our wine tasting proctor. She is an excellent hostess and ensured our education and training was perfect. This... More

We visited on Saturday the 28th. The winery has a small, friendly tasting room. All of the wines were very good. As you will learn at the tasting, they harvest via taste and it is reflected in the wine. The standouts for me were the rose' and the cab franc. The views from the grounds are lovely as well.

One of the best VA Reds, and you cant beat the view! The only downside is they charge a tasting fee. We purchased a bottle so I think the fee should have been waived.

If you are looking for the best of Virginia wines, this is the place. The tasting room is small, immaculate, well appointed, staffed by knowledgeable people, who are friendly and passionate about good wines. We have been aware of the Glen Manor vineyard since the mid nineties when the owner, Jeff, sold his grapes to and trained under another well... More

Don't expect much other than great wines and a wonderful view. But either would be reason enough to visit. We always enjoy a great tasting here, sometimes even with the winemaker's wife. She is a former chef and each tasting comes with a little something she has prepare (wonderful focaccia bread as a palate cleanser for example.) Their wines are... More

We popped into this winery on a humbug. The tasting menu was nice, allowing for a sampling of their nicer wines. The flavor are robust and pleasing to the palette. The staff is delightful. The homemade bread they provide is divine. We will definitely return when the weather is warmer and without our kids.
