This winery was beautiful and the view was stunning. Great gift shop with a huge selection of wine. Our only disappointed is that they were not offering tastings due to Covid-19 rules, even though other wineries were. We ended up buying a bottle and were happy with our selection. They have firepits, chairs and picnic areas. Worth the stop even without tastings available. …

We always visit Chateau Morrisette Winery & Restaurant when we’re visiting our VA vacation home. We love the atmosphere, events, and the wine - especially if it’s served by Ray!

This place is one of my favorites so relaxing and calming we are from research triangle area I tell everyone about this place. It is so romantic for a couples weekend. The French southern charm is amazing.

My wife and I along with friends of ours when to the winery for a tasting, Brad our wine steward was outstanding, extremely personable and very knowledgeable not only about the Chateau’s wine but wines in general. I learned more about how to taste wine from him during our visit than anyone before. Truly an enjoyable experience and will definitely plan future visits there. Thanks Brad for such an enjoyable visit. And one other thing Abigail was great ambassador and greeter…

I had just given my wife a Virginia Wine Pass for Christmas. We were headed to Mt. Airy to visit family and decided we wanted to use the Pass. Chateau Morrisette was the closest winery on the Pass along our way. It was a foggy, rainy and cold Friday afternoon. We found Chateau Morrisette to be off the beaten path for us. We arrived about 3pm to a guest-less tasting room and store. We found the two "tasing guides" to be very personable. One did our tasting and part of the way through, the other guide stood by and joined us in conversation. We had a great time. The ambiance was warm and cozy as they had a fire in the fireplace behind the bar. Our guide sampled us 5 additional wines that he thought we would enjoy (in addition to the 11 on the list). It was an awesome experience. We received all that and a souvenir glass. We ended up purchasing a case (which we don't normally do), but with a case discount and all the wines we liked it was an offer I couldn't refuse. I highly recommend this winery. It is worth the drive. I'm sure we will visit again when the weather is better. …
