We stopped in on an out of the way trip to Roanoke. Good variety of local fruits and vegetables. They also had a good selection of hand made goods. We would visit again next time we are in the area.

Starting in late Spring, local farmers and growers sell their wares downtown at the farmer's market. You need to go early, eat breakfast there, listen to music, and buy fruits and vegetables, meat, flowers and craft items. This is the place for organic food, and fresh-picked in-season fruits and vegetables. Enjoy!

The Floyd Farmer's Market has everything needed for delicious & healthy meals -- a diverse variety of vegetables, meats, various cheeses & more. The vendors offer naturally-raised and organic food products. Fair-trade coffee & prepared food can be consumed on-site. One vendor sells the most beautiful flowers! There are, also, homemade soaps & other non-edible products. In sum, everything one... More

It has a little bit of everything. We enjoyed a hot coffee and cocoa while walking through. It isn't the largest farmer's market we've been too....but it was one of the friendliest. It is worth the stop.

A lively farmer's market on a beautiful Saturday morning. From fresh bread and meat to organic coffee, this is a nice spot to hang out. They even have the local coffee roaster selling espresso!

Interesting representation of what is being grown and made in the local community. Come grab a fresh cup of coffee, pastry and walk the 20 or so stalls. In September I got some wonderful fresh beets, celeriac, and leeks for dinner.

All kinds of handcrafted gifts to bring home with me; jellies, pottery, fairies crafted out of wood, delicate tree fungus earrings... a real hometown experience.
