The fairly level trail around the lake is a favorite of many persons living in the County. It is scenic, especially in the Fall and when there is little or no wind. Very good for photography. Fairly frequent trail and park maintenance efforts by the Park Authority.

This is one of the best par 3 golf courses I have played. For those who usually play regulation courses this is an excellent place to practicalities and putting.

I have been taking my granddaughter here for7 years. She loves the train rides, the ice cream cones and now playing ball/frisbee. The park is close to home and family oriented.

I live near this park and run the trails nearly every week. They are well-maintained and frequented by friendly people. The marina offers boat rentals, which is nice, but for some reason kayaks aren't allowed unless you're fishing. That's disappointing, as I think it'd be a popular lake for kayakers. I haven't tried the fishing yet, as it's often crowded... More

The park was one of the deciding factors when we bought our house. It has a walking/running/biking path around the lake that is heavily used. Robinson Secondary School also uses the park for practice/meets, extremely child friendly. I learned how to play (or play at) golf, great par 3 course especially if you're just learning. My only complaint is about... More

This park is just beautiful and you can walk and walk and walk as it is shadowy enough. It is not crowded at all so you can enjoy some tranquility. But...you can also rent a small boat and paddle and just spend a whole day there with the family. For the runners amongst us, it is the perfect running trail.... More

This place is a serene oasis of green. Multiple paths to either bike or jog with activities for all ages (from kayaking to ultimate frisbee in the woods). The place is extremely well kept and offers ample parking. On some days there is an entrance fee and on others it is free. But even the small entrance fee for a... More

What a great park. My husband likes to run around the lake and I walk with our dog and meet him. It gets a little crowded and parking gets difficult on summer weekends. We see families enjoying the lake with boat rentals and a train ride, carousel and ice cream shop. Lots of family activities. I took really great golf... More

Burke Lake Park is a great place to all kinds of activities, including letterboxing! Lots of activities for all ages to enjoy nature. The small train that goes through the park is a favorite with little kids, especially during the Halloween season when it reverts to a "haunted ride" though it's not really scary for little ones. In addition to... More
