Have been to many events here over the years from Classical Music to Opera to British Military Bands. The room is exquisitely designed: never had a bad seat regardless of where I was sitting or the nature of the event.

Over the past few weeks I have attended two performances. First was the ballet, Giselle. The first half of the performance was much longer than the second half. But we enjoyed the performance. The second was Flying Dutchman in German. In the upper balcony the translation is partially blocked by the lights. They should look into lowering in a few... More

This is on the campus of George Mason University and brings renowned performers and shows into an intimate theater. My wife and I have seen several presentations here over the past few months. The quality of the performances is great. We saw Swan Lake performed by the Russian Ballet this past weekend. The dancing was very good (I am not... More

We had a great time at the performance. The seats are nice and there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. The only complaint was that the music was recorded, not live. I feel I should take advantage of this theater more often than I do.

Several months ago I attended a performance of La Boheme, a Sunday afternoon performance. I am a patron of the Metropolitan Opera for the last forty years, which exerts strict control over their attendees. I had front balcony seats costing about ninety dollars. The upper level balcony seats were half the price. and free for Students. The balcony was only... More

There really is not a bad seat in the house. A good place to see ballet, modern dance and opera, as well as musicians of all stripes, including jazz and blue grass.

This was the first time I attended a performance at the Center for the Arts at George Mason University (Northern Virginia) and was surprised to see the layout of the theatre. Normally, there is a center aisle that "cuts" the number of seats in half, creating two or more sections and making it easy for attendees to exit either via... More
