Great opportunity to see historical as well as very high end guns. It is a bit sad that they will never be shot again. Still, many nice examples of some of the finest firearms ever made.

This museum is probably the best firearms museum there is. It is so well done it is difficult to describe. It is a must see.

My husband and I both loved this museum. It has amazing collections of firearms and other weapons and has lots of historical information. Admission is free and it is well worth the time to visit especially if you like firearms.

I would recommend calling the headquarters for best directions as it is outside of DC in Fairfax, VA and I am not sure there is a close Metro station: (703) 267-1600. They should be able to assist you best.
