The wine tasting quickly soured when Rick, the pourer, knocked over a bottle of red wine spilling it all over my just-purchased white linen pants. Rick and Scott Elliff, Proprietor, stood there offering no recompense and clearly waiting for me to just walk away. There...More

Stopped by this beautiful winery on a whim. Greeted promptly by Beth. Janelle started our tasting. Great conversations and lots of knowledge imparted by both Janelle and Beth. Janelle ran thru our first five wines, then we moved to Beth to complete the last 3....More

Had a wonderful tasting at Ducard with Cora. She was informative and warm and friendly . We did not meet the winemaker but Kudos to him. All the wines were very good. My favorite was the Viognier . We all four had our favorites but...More

My husband and I went there for the first time on April 21st for the Oyster Festival. We had a fabulous time. Everyone was super nice, the band was great and the wine was superb. We shall go back again and again!

A little off the beaten path but worth the trip. A lovely winery and great, knowledgeable staff. This was our 2nd trip to the winery. We visited in October and they were sold out of the Norton wine. I was told it would be bottled...More

Hi Dee- thanks so much for your kind words! Yes we love our wines too-lol! Glad you enjoy them and can visit us often. A beautiful place to enjoy a glass (or bottle) of that Viognier for sure!

We were staying at a nearby b&b and the management there recommended DuCard since they are very welcoming to dogs and picnic baskets. We probably wouldn’t have visited otherwise, but we are very happy that we did. Janelle was very friendly and we really enjoyed...More

This winery is beautifully situated in valley which sadly means there is no cell service. We appeared to be the first tasters of the day and our server didn't seem overly pleased to have someone there (she didn't smile or seem vaguely like she enjoyed...More

Sorry we didn't provide a great visit for you. Maybe was a full moon?, as we are known for friendly and attentive staff and those wines that have residual sugar are normally perceived as well, slightly sweet - certainly not 'sour.' Give us a try...More

Stopped by while staying in the area. It was a Wednesday afternoon and we were the only people tasting. Tom was wonderful and we chatted about local wine. I left with 2 bottles. Looking to my return visit to purchase some bottles on Norton.

We came to DuCard on a rainy day and ended up with the tasting bar all to ourselves! It was a perfect day to be there and the wine was great! Out of the 6 vineyards we visited, this was my husband's favorite.
