The folks at Starr Hill Brewery know what they are doing! The place has a very industrial, hip vibe. They have "roaming" food truck schedule with every weekend featuring a new and different food truck. It is all in a crossroads area - so because it is all pavement, the outside dining can be pretty uncomfortable in the summer months.... More

Stopped here on the way back from our wine tours. This is one of our favorite breweries, so was super excited to see it was on our route! I can't say enough about the beers here....so many good ones! I did buy a crowler of the Northern Lights IPA. The brewery itself had a really nice set up too. It... More

Starr Hill is a bit of a drive off of 64. But it's beautiful country with winding roads. Crozet is a quaint town. Starr Hill has great beer. They consistently produce tasty brews. The tasting room gives off a warehouse/garage vibe. There is outside seating and nice bathrooms. There are plenty of events that happen at the brewery. They don't... More

This reveiw might not rave about this establishment, it is not ment to be derogatory! Drove over 30 minutes from Virginia Distillery to get here and was sorta let down by what i found, BUT you could consider this much like spots on the wine tasting tour, No food, bar seating or uncomfortable table seating again much like alot of... My short defense that this as a great brewery - seems many think this is "only" a very solid place: 1) they make solid beers most craft beer drinkers will enjoy in many of the major categories. That's not easy to do - maybe 20-30 breweries in the US that could meet that criteria. 2) Their 'scratch' or 'brewery-only' beers... More

You will love this great little stop-off on the side of the road in Crozet. Beautiful building, interior and friendly staff. They have grown from being downtown Charlottesville to being in a great facility in Crozet, located close to where my family lives. Love this lovely little brewery.

Although this brewery does not have a beautiful setting- or food- it had the best beer our group tasted all weekend. The free tour was great. The man who lead the tour was knowledgeable and easy going. There was a food truck outside that serves food if your hungry and also a small patio, and the inside bar has a... More

Starr Hill has some of the best merch and growlers, but their beer left me sad and crippled. It lacks the craft flavours that VA beer needs. You could take all of their beers on a flight and not be able to tell them apart. Please Start Hill, be creative, take a risk! Add some random local delight to your... More

By the time you read this the Double Chocolate Stout will no longer be available. It was like dessert in a glass. But don't worry, plenty more Starr Hill beers to enjoy. Plenty of seating, watch the NCAA tournament on TVs while you sip. Friday evening there was even a food truck for snacks or a full meal.
