This trail goes from Christiansburg to Blacksburg and beyond. It is great for a quiet walk or a bike ride. Love to walk to Blacksburg and take the bus back to Christiansburg for a little extra exercise. Beautiful all year round.

Most of the trail is fenced and well mowed. I feel pretty comfortable taking my children here. There is wild life though so just keep an eye on your surroundings. There are multiple places to see historical railways as well as currently active rail ways....More

Great choices of flat or hilly trails, lots of trees, bushes and wildlife. Some creeks provide water for the dog.

Love the huckleberry great place to walk, run, or ride a bike. In the summer there tends to be a lot of snakes and even being prior military I wouldn't go on it alone.

I did like the very accurate mile posts, though they FELT too far apart (personal problem). With a little running music and some babbling from the nearby creek, it was great for my workout. Easy access and parking. Posted with historical information too.
