Love the huckleberry great place to walk, run, or ride a bike. In the summer there tends to be a lot of snakes and even being prior military I wouldn't go on it alone.

I did like the very accurate mile posts, though they FELT too far apart (personal problem). With a little running music and some babbling from the nearby creek, it was great for my workout. Easy access and parking. Posted with historical information too.

The Huckleberry Trail is an excellent venue where you can jog, run, walk, cycle or enjoy nature. The Huckleberry Trail is safe, well maintained and enjoyable. Get out on the trail to have fun!

I have found many interesting parts of the trail while I was big into the Pokemon-Go craze. I would take my dog on long walks down the trail. I soon found myself checking out nature and not paying much attention to the game itself. There are plenty of benches along the way should you want to stop for a breather,... More

I've walked this many times over the years, mostly with dogs in tow. It is a very pleasant trail stretching from Blacksburg to Christiansburg. People are always friendly along it and I have never had anything but a pleasant experience.

We are grandparents of a 5 year old and thought it would be great to take him on an outing and walk part of the Huckleberry Trail. It was really a challenge and one we won't do again. We gave it two shots but not a third. The bicycles were horrible. True, it is a great place to bike BUT... More

If you look for a great cycling, running, skating or just a walking trail near Blacksburg or Christiansburg, this is your place! Nice mixed scenario of forest and farm fields surrounding a 7+ mile paved quit and secure trail. Some parts can be too sunny during summer time. It could benefit from some drinking water fountains, both for people and... More

Nice to place to walk. It does provide shade from the sun and cool breezes. But, I do not recommend walking after dark alone it doesn't feel safe.

This trail is a pretty easy trail to traverse, either walking, running, or bike riding. It is usually a very safe place and it goes through different areas of Blacksburg and Christiansburg. Nice place to visit!
