The museum is not publicized; I knew about it from reading about it on Tripadvisor. Although the artifacts don't look too new, there's a lot on the real Misty of Chincoteague. I particularly enjoyed reading the family tree! My kids and I got a kick...More

The gift shop had a very good selection of items for kids and adults. They offer pony rides and have shows that occur on the weekends.

We enjoyed stopping in and shopping at the gift shop then later on decided to ask about the pony rides. Definitely glad we stopped with or without kids it's a nice place!

I am not certain but I am sure the Chincoteague Island Tourist office will be able to help. Sorry for the delay in answering. Very busy at work. Hope you have a great time.
