Black Narrows fills a much need void At Chincoteague, a relaxed and friendly brewery. They’ve made this place welcoming for families. Clean and comfortable. The beers weren’t to my taste, I just didn’t enjoy the majority of the beers. I did notice it was very...More

We took a couple of days off after a business trip to Baltimore and drove out to Chincoteague Island. It was off season and a lot of places were closed but we found this gem of a place to relax, have a quality beer, and...More

The brewery is beautiful and very family friendly. They do not serve food, but you can bring your own & have a picnic. Although my husband & I are not into craft beers, we did find some on the menu that even light-weights like us...More

Always try to stop at a local brewery during travel. Black Narrows was a great find. Stopped in here for a couple pints both nights we were in Chincoteague. The Scotish Ale was very nice. Keep up the great work.

Tried everything on the board during a recent beach week; Down the Marsh and Rumble & Ramble (for the blueberry fest) got my top marks. Thoughtful touches abound: two child spaces (reading nook and play kitchen), best supply stash in a ladies’ room EVER, and...More

A new (and the only) brewery on Chincoteague, this place is a don't-miss. They offer a variety of their different beers, changing regularly--all of which have to be tried. Seating is indoors and outdoors on the deck--outdoors recommended. Seafood is take-out from their sister place...More

If you want to drink a "pint" you'll have to bring your own glass. I'd like to see them do away with those "dainty" glasses and start serving beer in a typical 16 oz. mug or sturdy glass. They have covered the outside deck with...More

A hidden gem right off Maddox Street. Worth the visit to quench your thirst on a hot day. Crab shack next door will deliver your food while you sit and enjoy good craft beers
