Even though mother nature did not cooperate with the sunset cruise my wife and I were amazed at capitan Scott's vast knowledge of chincoteague and asateague. We saw several dolphins playing in the water and the famous ponies hanging out. Highly recommend a cruise if you come for the day or a week.

With only six on the boat plus the captain, it was very personal. He was very nice and accommodating. I wanted to see a certain bird, (Clapper Rail) even though that did not happen, captain tried very hard. So appreciative of his effort. He was very knowledgeable of everything to do with the area. If you want to take a... More

I've toured with this company twice so far and I know I'll be back again! First time was with friends two years ago, and this last time was with family. The dolphins were out playing, we saw them going out and coming back in, the horses were close and friendly too! We had Cpt. Gene: he's funny, informative, and very... More

I saw Daisey's boat tour was rated as "dog friendly" and since I was doing a little 2-day getaway just me and my 4-legged best friend, I decided this was the thing to do to learn more about Chincoteague and see the VA side of Assateague, where dogs are not allowed on the trails. Captain Bill grew up on Chincoteague... More

I was recommended by a couple that was staying at the Bed and Breakfast I was staying at. They said they had a great time and if I could, request Nate. I called them up and booked it right after dinner. I also was able to request Nate. I took the Sunset tour on the bigger boat. Nate and his... More

What a great time with Captain Gene! Ponies, sea birds, horseshoe crab and dolphins as a bonus! They don't cheat you on your 2 hours (ours was a little over) and Gene was obviously well versed in all things island life since he's a year -round resident...what a pleasant trip!

We had a wonderful cruise with Captain Nate! We saw the ponies, dolphins, and eagles. Captain Nate was fun, easy going and extremely knowledgeable about all things related to Chicoteague and Assateague Islands.

I went out on a morning trip with Captain Scott. His knowledge and passion for the ponies was inspiring. I really appreciated the behind the scenes information he shared about the round up, herd management, and information about the ponies we got to see. I am looking forward to returning and will absolutely book again to share the experience with... More

Six of of us spent a unbelievable night with Captain Gene of Daisey Island Cruise. We had a spotless private boat that took us around the island while viewing ponies in the marsh channels, observing bald eagles in their nests, Dolphins all around the boat and to top it off a spectacular sunset. Captain Gene was so knowledgeable and fun.... More
