A hidden gem in the heart of Greenbrier. Nice walking trails throughout but a word of "CAUTION"- use bug spray as the mosquitoes can run you out of there. Ask in the house about the Paw Paw trees.

Very inviting, clean, well keep nature trail. However because the tree top canopy is quite thick, it is a little too shaded in some areas on sunny days, but I am glad the trail is there. It is good to have some undeveloped green space...More

They really have improved this place in the last year. It is well groomed and trails are clean/cleared ready to explore. Very nice place to walk or just smell the flowers!

This is a nice nature trail and can be done in about an hour. There are some steep hills though. It is a little hard to find from the road signs but worth seeing if you are looking for a new short walking trail.

This is our favorite place to take the dogs for a nice nature walk. Tucked behind a shopping center, it offers a mile or so of winding trails in a beautiful wooded environment complete with a hidden camellia garden. We prefer it to Oak Lake...More

I regularly jog through the arboretum as part or runs through the adjacent neighborhoods. It is a great place to walk. My kids love going too, and it's easy to loop together a walk of whatever distance you want. A big storm in the fall...More

Easy access to trail, less than 2 miles round trip. Enjoyed being in a wooded environment to walk. Would recommend insect repellant of some sort in warmer months.

Our friend's youngest child is infatuated with Bigfoot. To appease her imagination, we hiked through the Arboretum looking for signs of Bigfoot. As fate would have it, there is tangible proof Bigfoot inhabits the Chesapeake Arboretum. We found fur, footprints, even a hollowed-out tree where...More

The Chesapeake Arboretum offers an escape from urban life with ~3.5 miles of trails carved into 46 acres of forested native trees, a running creek, and scenically appealing background ideal for photography, jogging, or just strolling about... Check it out and get some fresh air...
