We were three ladies on a girl's vacation and spent an afternoon at The Glass Palette. It was great fun and we made a fluted vase, a sandwich plate and a bowl. The proprietors gave us a mini-lesson in scoring and cutting glass and how to create a design with colored glass that would become the finished product. You may... More

Took a large group there for a holiday treat. Staff was amazing and we all had a wonderful time. The directions were easy to follow, even the littlest kids (4) could participate. Everyone ended up with such different and unique items.

My wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon in the Glass Palette studio. One of the owners was there and after a brief orientation and tutorial, set us loose to create. Prices are per size of final object and not per materials, which gave us the freedom to experiment, cut glass, and design without worrying about time and materials adding... More

Very enjoyable. We had five of us, and a four month old baby with us. The experience was wonderful!! We each made something different. We spent 2 hours and they would ship the finished product to us if needed.

We took our grandchildren to the Glass Palette to add something fun into our trip. So glad we did! Each child was given the option of creating one item, great instructions and a very helpful owner guided them through the process. The girls were so excited and enjoyed the entire process. We are waiting for the plates to be fired... More

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and were looking for a fun and different activity!! By far so much fun and a memory we will always have!! Absolutely LOVED picking out what we would make, putting the colors together, and then being surprised when it shows up on our doorstep a few weeks later! Wish I... More

I had patronized The Glass Palette previously, and when back in Charlottesville with a friend, decided to make another piece of glass art. We both had a wonderful time. I just wish it was closer to home; I'd go more often.

My 85 year-old mom, my sister, my 15 year-old daughter, and I spent a very fun afternoon at the Glass Palette. The owners were terrific about helping all of us make beautiful creations. My mom and sister, neither of whom had done fused glass projects before, made earrings. My daughter made a gorgeous tray and I made a vase that... More

My boyfriend and I were doing a road trip across Virginia and stopped in at the Glass palette. We were immediately welcomed and shown the different projects that we could make. We had a wonderful time making two sushi plates, and the owners were so helpful in getting the color glass we needed, as well as just checking in with... More
