I love do crafty things and this was my favorite part of our trip. The ladies went above and beyond to accommodate us and they could not have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We had a nice time with the people at this place. The ability to let your creations rum wild is the part that makes this worth while.

We decided to do something a little more hands on after our visit to Monticello in the morning. After eating lunch we stopped in on a Thursday (which is their shipping day) to see about creating some wonderful art pieces with a 7 year old and a 13 year old! Maria was very accommodating!!! She allowed us to stay and... More

I went with my 2 teenage girls to kill some time after a UVA college tour. We had never done any art of this type and really didn't know what to expect. It was so unique, and so much fun. The owners were very friendly and helpful. My artsy daughter dove right in and made a beautiful mosaic. My other... More

We had her make six stained glass panels for our new mission style doors. She created beautiful mosaics of shape, color, and texture. We let run with her creative juices and we were quite pleased with her work! Excellent artistry!

We were three ladies on a girl's vacation and spent an afternoon at The Glass Palette. It was great fun and we made a fluted vase, a sandwich plate and a bowl. The proprietors gave us a mini-lesson in scoring and cutting glass and how to create a design with colored glass that would become the finished product. You may... More

Took a large group there for a holiday treat. Staff was amazing and we all had a wonderful time. The directions were easy to follow, even the littlest kids (4) could participate. Everyone ended up with such different and unique items.

My wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon in the Glass Palette studio. One of the owners was there and after a brief orientation and tutorial, set us loose to create. Prices are per size of final object and not per materials, which gave us the freedom to experiment, cut glass, and design without worrying about time and materials adding... More

Very enjoyable. We had five of us, and a four month old baby with us. The experience was wonderful!! We each made something different. We spent 2 hours and they would ship the finished product to us if needed.
