Great local park for a walk or hike. There is a small visitor center, but the park is mostly just a pretty place with woods and a pond for a 1-2 mile walk.

I love getting "away" from the neighborhoods in this park. You can forget you are surrounded by roads and see some birds, turtles, and fish in the pond or streams.

When my daughters were children we used to fish for blue gills and crappies. It was at least 20 years ago but I drive past it at least 2 or three times a week

This is a beautiful and peaceful park with fairly well-maintained trails. I walk or jog through the park at least six times a month. The pond at the southern end of the park is very nice. Years ago my daughter caught a bass there. The...More

I frequently walk the trails and ball field area of EC Lawrence. The trails are well kept, and a nice walk in a suburban environment. I see woodpeckers, hawks, bluejays, deer, foxes, and sometimes turkeys on my walks. It's a testament to "adaption" in nature...More
