It is a lovely place. Had to pay $10 to reserve a patio table with a mountain view. It is a beautiful day and I have a dirty clear plastic wall distorting the beautiful view! Drove over an hour and could of stayed home to look at this view during the fall

Management has certainly done what they can to make this a safe place to visit during the pandemic--which is excellent. The general area is also beautiful, and parking is plentiful. You can bring your own picnic. Bags checked for contraband drinks. But if you come here for the wine, you may be disappointed. I understand why the tasting tray is now a collection of unattractive plastic cups. Fine. But none of the three white or the three red wines were impressive and worth pursuing in greater quantities.

Hi, My suggestion is do your homework before reserving table, don't be fooled by their relatively higher reviews. They don't provide hot food, neither allowing bringing your own drinks (including water) even with $10 for 2 hours "Table Fee" for reservation. Nice views though, that's why it got 2 stars from us.

We both loved the tour and the guide until we got to the barn where the silver tanks were located. Nice air conditioning, but the guide was more than 8’ away with a mask and we could not understand what she said. There is a mask distance and then in the barn with the echo and distance we recommend taking off the mask.

I’ve been to Bull Run three times over the last year or so. Once doing a tasting inside (before COVID), once outside (after COVID) and once as part of a futures wine barrel tasting. The barrel tasting was fantastic! Learned a lot about wine making and really enjoyed tasting young wines. The wine maker that lead the tour was great, I wish I could remember his name. We even spent about an 1/2 hour with him after just talking wines and talking about some of the other Virginia wineries. Bull Run has some great wines and I’ve enjoyed the tastings that I’ve had. Unfortunately, if you are looking for a place to enjoy some wine and enjoy quiet views, probably not the place for you. There’s a definite younger crowd here, some of which are just there to get loaded. I go to a fair amount of wineries in Virginia and this is definitely more of a party scene than a quiet place to enjoy wine. They have great wine, it’s just not a place I like to visit
