Love this place! Great for walking along the shore. Very peaceful and rarely crowded! Lots of amenities! Fishing, restrooms, boat launch, overnite facilities, awesome swimming areas, great for seashelling!

You do not have to camp. Many folks just come to fish on the pier or walk. Be sure to pay the small fee to fish the pier. The rangers do check from time to time. You don't need a fishing license to fish the pier but you are... More

We haven't had any problems with muddy sites at Kiptopeke this year. Some rain forecast this next week but scattered thundershowers not constant.
