This place is a lot of fun. The atmosphere is friendly and we enjoy their wines. We have an enjoyable time with a particular server who is very personable and has a great sense of humor. We did a tasting and had a bottle out on the patio over looking the mountains. There was live music outside and an old... More

The relaxing environment of Twin Oaks Tavern & Winery seems different than many Shenandoah Valley wineries. The casual environment seems to encourage visitors to make a wine selection [bottle or glass] and just relax on the deck, enjoy the view, and, at certain times, the entertainment. Place has a certain vibe of your neighborhood tavern, “where everyone knows you name.”... More

Walking up to Twin Oaks Tavern feels a bit like walking in Disney or Great Adventure where the cutesy rock on the outside. For a small winery, the grape vines on property are impressive and the view of the mountains is beautiful and serene. There's an outside deck where you can sit in nice weather, take in the scenery while... More

Perhaps the best winery I've ever been to. The view of the Shenandoah Mountains and Valley is outstanding, especially during sunset. The wines were excellent and the staff is very friendly. Excellent for private events... can only imagine what a wedding would look like there! Variety of cheeses and meats there plus a chili and another hot soup. Thinking of... More

We stopped by on our way back to DC and will definitely be back to this great little tasting room. Beautiful view of the valley in the distance, light snacks and a great selection of wines. The staff were very friendly and we spent a very happy hour sipping and relaxing at the tables.

We "found" this place based on a recommendation, and we're glad we did. The wine was good - a few were really good. They serve food (Chef Mike), but it's a must to be enjoyed on one of their tiered patios. We got the chili, some bread and enjoyed our Ravens Rock Red, a red blend. The views down into... More

It was a cute enough place with live music. I liked one of their wines. But there is no separation of the tasting area from the area that people were hanging out and drinking. The people working there seem to be stretched thin. Therefore it took forever for our tasting.

Our group of twelve ADULTS arrived to the winery around 2:00p after river tubing nearby. The male singer Ken was very good. He was fun, interactive and played all our requests. Their was no air conditioning inside, extremely stuffy. Thankfully, we were able to sit outside on the patio. Still wishing they had more than one bathroom. How about a... More

We liked the wines and the hospitality. We did a tasting and had a glass of wine out on the patio. There is indoor seating with tables (and candles). They have a chilled spiced wine which was unique. There is food available for purchase.
