Saw Guys and Dolls - show was fabulous. Had dinner before the show downstairs - was terrible. Overpriced and way under delivered. How often do you get a desert that is uneatable. Entrees small and not well prepared. Ice water with no ice???? Dinner rolls burned. Need I say more......

For a small playhouse in rural VT this is a must do! Take a look at the schedule, find a show, and make sure you reserve in advance. They are frequently sold out. I especially enjoyed the Cabaret as well as the view from the balcony.

We love coming here for top quality shows with wonderful actors and actresses. And they have nice wide aisles and wide seats which is a plus. Beautiful location and good selection of shows. Matinees and evening. And afterwards they do have a Caberet downstairs with food and drinks available. Even have a restaurant on site for pre theatre dinning.

A tired, uninspired show. The performers were ok, but just ok, the same folks who put on a mediocre Mama Mia and a terrible Man of La Mancha last year. The production felt a bit like a high school one, except at high school, at least it's fun that your kid is in the show. It's time for new actors at Weston for sure.

We were there in July and again in August. We were so impressed by the shows here and at the Rod and Gun Club. There is nothing small time about this little gem in this tiny town. The extra special blessing? NO CELL SIGNAL ANYWHERE! It makes theatre going just wonderful. The quality of the shows is exceptional. If you go, do yourself a favor and make reservations for the Cabaret, which follows the main show. It is hilarious!

I saw the production of " A chorus line " last night. Not so wonderful. The actors had lovely voices but this is a show about dancers and with the exception of a few of the performers they didn't seem like dancers... more like actors/singers pretending to be dancers. The theater is a beautiful space and it's reputations is stellar so my expectations were high. The ticket price of $ 60.00 per person seemed high to me which also lead me to believe this production would be wonderful. NOT SO MUCH! I have seen many productions of " A chorus line" including the original , the revival on Broadway and a number of local and regional productions. I love this show, but not this production. The actors do the best they can, clearly this show was sung beautifully most of my complaint is with the direction of the show. Didn't work for me. I was very disappointed .

Not only is the restaurant a delight to dine in before one of the many wonderful offerings at the playhouse, but the quality of the performances brings a bit of Broadway to the quaint village of Weston..it is a must for anyone visiting the area during the summer!

We've enjoyed dozens of terrific performances at Weston, both in the main playhouse and in the new Walker Farm facility. Professional cast with a mix of local and national actors. Excellent directors. Since both venues are small there isn't a bad seat in the house, and the audience can feel very connected to the performance. I've seen countless Broadway productions and while Weston may not compete on scale of production the performances are outstanding. And it's so much more pleasant (and less expensive) to spend the evening in Weston vs. Manhattan.

This venue is wonderful. If you can, do not miss West Side Story currently playing. One of the best summer stock productions around. The theater has excellent site lines anywhere in the theater orchestra. Get there early and enjoy the view of the waterfall from the back deck at the lobby. Many very good productions.
