If you like country stores, then this is the ultimate place for you! Just room after room after room of unique, strange, interesting, delightful products. It's overwhelming, and a lot of fun, as long as you are not the type of person who makes a stink about "over-priced tourist traps blah blah blah .." shut up and just try to... More

As you walk into the store, you walk back in time. The store is filled with nostalgic items in all departments. They have a wonderful section on natural remedies, clothing, housewares and the food section is filled with tasty items that you can also sample. It's a wonderful place to shop.

A great place to see and experience, so many things available. You won't leave there hungry with the incredible amount of samples. You can try just about every food product they sell. From clothing to food goods they have a little bit of everything. Somethings I found to be a little pricey but over all a great place to experience.

This store was so much bigger than we expected. We went from one room to another, to another, and so on. Could have spent a lot more time here than we allotted. I was looking for items I'd seen in their catalog and found most of them. The candy selection was awesome. Was fun looking at old timey stuff I... More

Weston is a beautiful town somewhat overshadowed by the Vermont Country Store. The store is incredible, filled with items you can't find anywhere else; stuff you thought they didn't even make anymore. There's also lots of free samples of the candies and cookies, jams and cheeses that they sell. Browsing the store is a lot of fun.

If you love retro this is the place to shop! I've received the catalog for years and always wanted to visit the store, it did not disappoint! Way too much fun and we probably spent 1 1/2 hours in each of their store locations. The generous sample tasting is brilliant marketing and we certainly not only enjoyed the tastings, but... More

We have gone here year after year and this year they were out of several items that we wanted including food items and personal items. They did say the items were back ordered but they should have prepared better knowing Fall foliage season draws in a lot of people. (We were there early October before peak foliage). To have these... We visited the Vermont Country Store this past Autumn weekend and it was packed with "leaf peepers" viewing the state's colorful foliage. My wife loved tasting a variety of cheeses, crackers and butters. It's really a general store with everything you can imagine or want- food, clothing, cosmetics, souvenirs and more. Highly recommend a stop here.

The Vermont Country Store is the perfect place to relax, see, and taste many aspects of Vermont. Also, all the many free samples made it easy to determine what we like and ultimately buy. Recommendation - Plan on spending a good hour to walk through this great store and be a touch on the hungry side to enjoy the samples!

This store has everything and anything. And TONS of samples. ;) Well worth a visit. off the beaten path a bit, but its actually a nice drive. Take a long drive up the famous Rt 100 and check out all the little towns on the way. The store was packed when we were there as its leaf peeping season so... More
