What this brewery lacks in size makes up in the beer it produces! Sampled all 8 offerings. Not a bad beer in the bunch! The NEKIPA is going to be the next Heady Topper if word gets out! The father/daughter team are great hosts! Don’t miss the soft pretzels & home made mustard. The mustard is delicious & should be bottled & sold!

Love stopping here when we are in the area. They always have a wide selection of good beer and we pick up as much as we can for camp. I love the english brown ale, the pat noir (schwarzbier), and the Vienna lager. My husband is a big fan of the Willoughby White. Both of us like the NEIPA. All are very tasty.

Right on the road at 2370 US Rt 5 in W Burke, VT is this new brewery. Tasted there in early Oct, out of a lot of their beers as they close Mid Oct until reopening in Mid May. Styles reminded me of German, light on hops, thinner beers. Owner is also a Chemical Engineer, good background for beer making, but still learning his craft through winter visits to German brewhouses. Beers more on the malty side, so if you love hoppy IPAs you won't fine them here. It might be better if the owner spent some time training with American brewers, in my opinion. Of course that may change, but the brewery seems to be a hobby for the owner, and only being open 5 months of the year in a tiny town (chosen because it's close to his home) doesn't fare very well for great beers. One neat thing is a canning machine that will can the draft beer of your choice as you watch, 32 oz can - should last better than a growler. Time will tell - if you are nearby, a good stop, but certainly not yet a destination.
