So I’m super claustrophobic and although I longed to do this while in the Mad River Valley, I just didn’t think I could. The staff were so incredibly patient and supportive of me letting me sit in the glider for a few minutes and then lowering the canopy....I just finally decided that I wasn’t going to let fear win. O....M....G, what an awesome experience (I took the 20 minute flight (15,20 and 30 available) and the time flew by. My pilot Alex was terrific, pointing out amazing sites and feeling me out about how much “excitement” I wanted to experience. Every single person we interacted with from the president, to Bill who towed us up, to Alex the pilot, to Silas on the line crew-everyone is just top notch! Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

We're delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful time! We tailor our rides to suit each passenger, and it sounds like you're happy that you worked up the courage to fly with us. If you're ever back in the area and want to take another ride (fall foliage is spectacular), we promise to deliver another friendly welcome and awesome flight experience!

Showed up on a Sunday afternoon on our way to the airport. They got my husband and me up in the air (one per glider with a pilot) so we could see each other glide. Steve, my pilot, was very informative and had an interesting background. The soaring was stunning; peaceful, safe, and with beautiful views of the entire area. Do it: you won’t regret it.

The very friendly and highly professional staff made my first glider experience ever a very memorable way to end a vacation in the Mad River Valley of Vermont. Soaring along the ridges on the thermal drafts was a thrilling experience, capped by a small adrenalin rush as we (intentionally) bumped onto the grass beside the runway at the end of the journey. Bring a camera: the views were gorgeous, and the pilot's commentary helped orient me to what I was seeing. The staff shows a total commitment to safety and to customer service. Recommended especially for families with teens, but really for anyone. Very enjoyable.

Terrific way to enjoy a Vermont afternoon. Call Mary and book a glider ride from Sugarbush airport. Easy to get to, easy to book, great fun all around. This team knows what they are doing and there is never a sense you are doing something you shouldn't. Professional through-and-through. We booked the 30 minute flight and that was perfect. The thrill of the take-off and then a long ride down once the tow plane is released...devine. Beautiful setting - beautiful day!

My first encounter whith this place was over thirty? years ago.My children were young and my wife fiercely opposed for me taking a ride.On Sunday July 23rd 2017 I fulfilled my wishes.A twenty minutes ride to 4500 feet. The views of Sugarbush,Lake Champlain in the distance and the Mad River Valley were outstanding. My pilot,Steve, made the experience much better.I would highly recommend this place. This time my wife was there sans our children.
