My husband and I enjoyed talking about the maple syrup production with this very knowledgeable farmer/owner. good prices and a good experience. We will start ordering maple syrup from this farm instead of buying it from Costco. It is always nice to give your business directly to the farmer.

My husband and I vacationed in New England in 2010 and brought syrup home from Stowe Maple. My intention was to ration it to make it last as long as I could, so after giving my then 2 1/2 year old breakfast with the real maple soon after getting home, the next breakfast I gave her the fake stuff from the grocery store. “Mommy, this syrup is disgusting!” I’ve been calling in my order to Steve and Robin ever since. Our favorite is Grade A dark amber or Grade B. So good!

Like so many other places, the restrictions for COVID put a damper on all things. This adorable little store has been restricted to visitors being able to enter the tiniest lobby and look at what is available. The owner will then get the products for you. Prices are good and he is very helpful and apologetic for the limitations. So if your goal is great maple syrup, freshly made, and associated treats, this is worth it.

Saw this place on tripadvisor while looking for places to visit while in the Stowe area. This location was highly rated for maple syrup and we were running out at home so made the stop. The owner greeted us, showed us and offered us to taste the different grades of maple syrup. He was friendly and informative, the place was charming and we purchased (2) large bottles for ourselves and a smaller one for a gift. We will definitely be back when visiting Stowe in the future.

We wish we had come here first instead of buying more expensive less qualitative candy and syrup from other stores in Stowe. The inside is a heavenly smelling cabin attached to a glass walled small syrup making facility. The products are amazing, artisan-made and much cheaper than any of the other places we have visited in Stowe or around. The very knowledgeable shop keeper made time to make us sample various grades of syrup and to explain to our little girl the syrup making process. A rare genuine hidden gem
Of a place that no trip to Stowe should be complete without.

Storefront is very small right now, due to Covid. However it has all the syrup, honey, and maple candy you need. They also offer flat rate shipping. We were in and out in about 10 minutes.

Steve the owner was a nice guy. They have a myriad of Vermont syrups and candies. I bought the 3 types of syrups that they sell. Small bottles to see the different tastes and a large one of the amber fancy. Light and delicate. Their best seller.

I'd read other reviews about places to buy maple syrup in VT and decided to check out SMP for myself.
The owner (sorry I forgot your name!) knew his business, plus gave us tastes of the 3 grades of syrup to help us decide which one(s) to get.
We ended up ordering a half gallon of Grade A and a quart of Grade A Amber, both to be shipped and arrive to our home once we were back from vacation.
We got back Saturday and our syrup joined us on Monday!! We'll finally be able to try them out on waffles later this weekend morning.
As far as cost, we paid $74 for 3/4 of a gallon of pure VT maple syrup, which included shipping. I consider this a bargain for enjoying our VT vacation for many breakfasts to come!

It was a little hard to find, but definitely worth it! The person at the front desk was very friendly, showered us with free samples, and showed us where they make the candy in the back. Plus the price was good and they were delicious. I definitely recommend going here.

On our way back to Burlington from Stowe and we found this quick stop to buy some maple products. The owner, Steve? was kind enough to show us the different grades of maple syrup. His friendliness and charm made the difference and so we bought a large bottle of medium grade. He had other products in the store that were reasonably priced and interesting. Definitely be back here when we return in the fall.
