Although this is a beautiful in town trail suitable for beginners and advanced hikers, it has been taken over by trail bikers. It is a single lane trail, forcing walkers off the trail and bikers to slow, limiting enjoyment for both

Was in Stowe for business and brought my Mountain Bike. I googled Mountain Biking and Candy Hill was close to my hotel. The area is nicely mapped with a great view. Bear, the trail out, is a great down and out trail.

This mountain bike course right in town is newish but popular with bikers, including locals who enjoy challenging single track. Moderate climbs but challenging descents for the older biker!

We enjoyed walking through this serene forest right off of Rout 108. It was terribly humid but not very buggy at all! It was a lovely walk through a beautiful forested area.

This is an excellent stop on the way to Hill farmstead breweries. Not technical enough to be a 5 star MTB, but clearly an 5 star stop on a road trip. Would definitely stop again.
