I don't want to sound skeptical, but I don't believe the bridge is haunted. The "newness" of this story is what makes it hard to believe for me. That aside, this is a beautiful, quaint, and artistic piece of history. If you are in Stowe,...More

It is a very old bridge and has a lot of history . I was hoping to see Emily. It's a very short walk across the bridge because there no traffic light you have to be very care crossing g the road.

Not too far out of town, easy to find by car, and some fun information to read when you get to the bridge!

We made a quick side trip to see the bridge. If you're in the area, it's a nice, very "Vermont" photo op.

Very neat little bridge. Interesting story about Emily and this bridge. Too bad she jumped all because of a stupid man. Oh well. Lol

Great photo opp just off 100. Google it and you'll get right there. It's one of several covered bridges in the surrounding counties and this one is over 150 years old.

Wanting to see some of the storied bridges of Vermont, we took a quick drive to Emily's bridge. The "plot" of the bridge is the usual "beautiful young girl perishes" in the bridge by some horrible means or another.

We collect covered bridges. Sounds odd. But it helps set the itinerary in exploring New England. The Gold Brook bridge was interesting and another notch in our covered bridge collection.

My gf and I love covered bridges. We love their history and how they are set into the scenery. We took a detour just to visit this bridge and take pictures and to cross over it. Some may find this boring, some fascinating. Whatever you...More

We heard about this place on the LORE podcast. Curious, we stopped by on a foggy October day. Although nothing happened, we later learned that our nephew had a creepy experience on this bridge years ago. It involved photography, moving orbs, and four scared teens.
