Finally found this bridge after getting lost a couple of times, but with it's history and legend I'm glad we did. Looked somewhat eerie, especially in the rain as it was pouring. A must for all covered bridge fans!

If you are going to see a covered bridge you might as well see this one. It's haunted. And beautiful. And close to all the other fun tourist stops in VT. And free!
Though we sadly didn't see Emily, we still enjoyed the bridge and surrounding area. The water flowing underneath coupled with the beginning of the changing leaves made everything gorgeous! Fairly easy to get to from downtown Stowe and not too far off the beaten path.
Do some research, there are a ton of covered bridges in Vermont. Most still in use, would take 2 or 3 days to visit all, some are a marvel for the time they were built, most have had upkeep to keep them as they were...More
