Covered bridges are just cool. This one is in excellent condition, and photogenic. There are a few tales about how this bridge is haunted. Whether it is or isn't it is still very cool!

Vermont in early October has some of the best fall foilage in the US. The Wood Covered Bridges in the local area look their best at this time of year. Its about a 5 min drive from downtown Stowe. There is a little parking area just off from the bridge. Make sure to research others in the local area as... More

This was not far from downtown Stowe and worth the trip. Very scenic. We like to drive across it every time we go to Stowe.

Nice scenic area. Pretty much just another covered bridge. Easy to find. Good photo opportunity . Parking area right next to the bridge is nice and safe. We were the only people there. Just a few minutes from downtown Stowe.

This is a nice covered bridge over Gold Brook, just south of Stowe. It is easy to find and there is minimal traffic around it so it is a good opportunity to get some nice photos. If you go to in on Gold Brook Road, leave going north. This will take you over some very nice country roads and lead... More

Emily's Bridge is beautiful but made even more interesting by the story of Emily. Take some time to visit. Very picturesque.

ghost hunters were at the bridge when we were there. Very scenic location, but no ghost in evidence...

My husband and I did a self-guided covered bridge tour on our recent trip to Vermont, which was amazing. This was our first stop on the tour. The bridge was a little hard to find, but well worth the effort. These bridges that are scattered all over the state are so beautiful!

We traveled from Arkansas & Oklahoma to find food "for the soul." And we did. The bridge is beautiful, the surrounding area is beautiful. You can spend minutes therre or hours. Whatever your desire, the Gold Brook Covered Bridge will certainly feed your soul.

We went to check this out. It's easy to get to, and there is a parking lot right next to it. There is a short path to walk down to see the water and stones. Neat little place.
