Love the mountain, dislike the unorganized long ticket process and price

We have visited Stowe many times and have seen it grow over the years. The trails and lifts are well organized. The lodges are friendly. What I did not like was the ticket counter and the long slow line even on a Friday and not a holiday. Also the Stowe website did not make it clear that the prices they... More

Had lunch at the Cliff House and great Gondola ride but I left my credit card up at the restaurant. Called the next day and they had it and then they then delivered it to my hotel! Every single person I talked with at the restaurant and at guest services were focused on solving my issue and to make it... More

We had a good time visiting this resort over four days. We had good conditions and weather and there was plenty to do. The lift tickets were a bit pricey although savings can be made with a Vermont Travel club card. There are free shuttle buses and free lockers which sweetened the deal a bit. The mountain has a good... More

Stowe (Mt. Mansfield) has great terrain and really long runs. There runs are as long as runs in Rockies. The village is real nice with some gentle slopes from Spruce Peak. I wish I could ski there every year.

My son and I just spent 3 great days skiing at Stowe. It's an awesome ski area on 2 mountains, Mt Mansfield and Spuce Peak. Mt Mansfield being larger and the original. Many of the trails there are challenging and somewhat rugged. Some were cut down from the summit back in the 1930's. Spruce Peak has newer and wider trails... More

Stowe has so much to offer in winter. Skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, ice-skating ... Lift tickets are very expensive but the skiing is great.Buy your tickets on line to save money. Stowe has a lot of free hiking treks (Stowe Recreational Path and Cady Hill) which are great for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. No need to pay. We hired our ice... More

Fall colours were on but an early snow storm gave us a look at the ski hills! Was nice to go in the shoulder season when not so busy.

Truly beautiful but a bit pricey, we Paid 28 USD for each person. The view on top was great and we visited during the peak fall weekend so it was very crowded.

We paid $112 for four people to go to the top on a rainy, gray day. Once on top the restaurant offered very good food ... Did it once but not again ...
