Yea clever marketing guy. They turned the fact that they have no money for grooming equipment which makes it hard to ski, into a positive buy daring you to ski it, like they want it that way. Believe me, if they could groom this place...More

First of all Mad River is not in Stowe. Its in FAYSTON, VERMONT. All natural ski area, almost no snow making. If you want a no frills day of real skiingin, GO TO MAD RIVER GLEN in FAYSTON, VERMONT

We traveled the whole Byway thru Stowe ,Rutland & Bennington, then to Brattleboro. We tried to travel all byways, but Byway 100 was really beautiful considering we have colorless palm trees. Yes, we virgin leaf-peepers will be back. (Our 40th in 2 yrs.) See y'all...More
