I was going to hike the Long Trail part way up Mt. Mansfield, which is rated a moderate trail. Um, not so moderate! I am not a serious hiker - I was in walking shoes, not hiking boots. Lots of climbing up a trail where you have to find a way on rocks and tree roots. I was doing it,... More

My wife and I recently stayed at Stowe Mountain Lodge in connection with a week long meeting attended by over 200 people. We both loved it. The Lodge is beautifully designed and furnished taking advantage of the views and activities going on outside. Extensive use is made of Vermont stone and marble. The space is l is broken up so... Perfect accommodations for our time there. The staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. Having been my first visit to the Stowe Mountain Lodge I can honestly say it will not be my wife and I last visit. I found the grounds to be meticulously kept and their eye for even the smallest detail was not overlooked. We... More

An overnight Ski trip with some friends. Good skiing/snowboarding. Hotel was awesome and the room was perfect for the 4 of us. I'll definitely go back again.

My wife and I visited Stowe Mountain Resort for the first time at the beginning of March. Given the lack of snow during the 2015-2016 winter and some lackluster skiing at other resorts in New England due to the weather, we were unsure of what we'd find. Thankfully, Stowe did a great job, all things considered, making and grooming out... More

A beautiful resort with great views of the slopes on both sides of the resort. Visited the resort during the off season in mid May & selected to stay in a 1200+ sq ft two bedroom suite with a fully equipped kitchen with a gas range & dishwasher, 2 1/2 baths, dining area, tv sitting area with gas fireplace, two... We rode the gondola's($20-25 I think) to the top which is the highest peak in Vermont I believe. The view from up there was stunning with the fall colors. You can hike up or down, zipline and enjoy lunch up top!

We went to the resort for an hour long massage. In the price you get access to the Spa for the day which is amazing value. We spent an atmospheric evening in the outdoor heated pool, with snow covered trees surrounding us! Pretty magical and a memory that will be treasured for life. The spa facilities are good and unisex.... More

We weren't sure of our weekend plans with rain forecasted. It turned out to be a great ski weekend. Although it was a mix of rain and snow at the base the rest of the mountain had fresh powder.
