Fantastic resort with excellent services and hospitality. Spent a lot of time on the grounds and plenty of time off the grounds as well, hiking, swimming, horseback riding and so forth. Restaurants in Stowe also provide a lot of wonderful dining choices. Look forward to going back soon.

I love the resort and all that it offers, but unless there is a blazing snowstorm that prevents one from travelling by car to have dinner (if they are staying there), I'd consider other options. Mostly because of the high price tag, but burgers are always a better bargain. Outstanding atmosphere and staff particularly amicable and genuine. Treat yourself one... More

Beautiful hotel/resort! Lots to do! Hiking, biking, golf, zip lining, rock climbing, fly fishing, spa services, gym, skiing in winter,so many choices, not enough time! Hotel is gorgeous, clean and luxurious. Beautiful pool too! Very friendly staff! Definitely upscale resort - would visit again anytime! Only complaint is not enough food choices on site but lots in town of Stowe... More

This was my first zip line experience. I did not realize that the ticket is for ONE ride down the mountain (total of 3 zip lines). A rather expensive proposition in my view. It is fun but, not enough for the price. The kids went on the tree top adventure tour. They had LOTS of fun. Prices at the restaurants... More

This was one of the best ziplining adventures I have had. The first zipline starts under the Gondola and races across nosedive for 4400 feet.. there are 2 ziplines next to one another so your partner can race you down to the platform before you do the next one. What a blast. Then the 2nd zipline is the steepest and... More

This was one of our favorite things to do in Vermont! The Gondola Sky Ride is why we came so we could have lunch at the top at the Cliff House Restaurant. The cars were private and had air circulating well in Summer. It was cooler at the top, but we sat outside on the patio because we couldn't pass... More

I've ridden over a dozen different zip lines, and this was the worst one I've been on ! The equipment is heavy and clumsy, and you have to carry it in a back pack they provide. The lines are long, however you have do all the braking.... and this entails pulling down on a handle with two hands to release... More

We were staying at the Lodge and one night wanted to stay in and have dinner at the lodge. We chose Hourglass as we wanted a casual option - great food, service and we had a front table with a great view of Mt Mansfield.
