This was everything my wife and I were looking for in a babymoon: awesome pool for day-long relaxation, easy access to the wonderful town of Stowe full of restaurants and cute shops, and the rooms were spacious (classic room).

The views from the resort are only equalled by the views from the golf course. Walking trails that wind through the property are well cared for; the hot tubs, spa, healing center and pool kept us busy. My wife enjoyed a soothing foot massage with...More

Stowe has a thing serious skiers will appreciate. The entire mountain is steep, doesn’t seem to flatten off, so the entire vertical drop is good skiing unlike many resorts. High-speed lifts mean short waits, though you pay for it with very expensive lift passes. Trails...More

Lots of ski runs with options for all levels. Gondolas get you to the top quickly. Quite expensive for 2 days of skiing and no other option than buying a full day ticket (no half day or discount for 2 days). A few lodges at...More

The skiing and resort facilities were fine. However, the skis cost more to rent than they would have to buy, and the premium skis were far from it. A half day lift pass costs the same as a full day, and was only mildly discounted...More

Beautiful resort catered to families willing to spend big money. Was fun, but not the typical Vermont feel ski resort if that is what you're looking for. If you want a ritzy place with spa treatment, and all the bells and whistles then this is...More

We came here off season but there still was plenty to do here and in the surrounding areas. The hotel itself and our room were great. The only problem was that one night there was bad weather so we ate at the hotel restaurant and...More

This place in hands down the best skiing for families and kids. The ski school for kids is really amazing. The accommodations are top notch. Spring skiing was awesome at Stowe. This place is on the expensive side... but you get what you pay for....

We went to Stowe with our family for a few days to snowboard. I used to go to Stowe all the time and it was always a quaint mountain with a home town feel. However, since Vail has taken over the customer service has gone...More
