The approach to this property has you excited with what is install for you! The scenery is amazing and the view from the property is incredible. We were greeted warmly and shown through to a beautiful room with yet more incredible views. So far so good. Then we were presented with the weirdest menu. We visited the property for dinner... A quiet location that offers a chance to relax and enjoy the Vermont experience. Tastefully decorated rooms and a dining room that looks out over the property. This was used as a location in the movie " The Four Seasons" starring Alan Alda.

We left 75 degree temperatures in Florida to go to Stowe, Vermont to do winter activities we had never tried before. We were fortunate enough to get temperatures in the single digits and teens for the final weekend of winter. The Edson Hill Manor was beyond spectacular. Eric, his wife Jessie and the entire staff - including restaurant personnel -treated... More

The setting is spectacular. Now that I have noted the good . . . Went out for a birthday dinner and was VERY disappointed. It took a long time for our drink order to be taken and then they arrived after appetizers, which took a long time too. The food received mixed reviews, but the service may have influenced those... Beautiful decor, food was good, service was slow. Hopefully they can work out the details. Pub was so quaint. Can't wait it go back.

Wonderful improvements have been made. Carl has made our visits special, so we were very disappointed to learn Carl is leaving ... He will be missed ... What a shame, he was a real asset and a wonderful host.

Myself, my husband and 10 year old enjoyed a trail ride with Sydney! She made us feel very comfortable with our beautiful horses for a 1 hour ride.

We stayed for 3 nights in the main inn; our friends had 2 rooms in one of the carriage houses. Our room (#6) was charming, had a gas fireplace (which made the room warmer as well), accomodated a cot for our son, had a large walk-in closet (convenient for a ski trip) and a pleasant bathroom with seeming endless hot... My wife and I held our wedding at Edson Hill Manor in October of 2007. After having some initial reservations during the planning phase due to some less than glowing reviews and a couple of booking snafus, the actual event went off without a hitch. In fact, everything turned out better than we had expected. (and even cost a little... More
