Great start to the morning!

Started the morning here and traversed over to Mt Mansfield - conditions were great Spring skiing with many trails groomed!

First of all the place is very attractive and in a lovely setting. This review is not about the resort itself per se. Sixteen of us, 8 children and 8 adults went here to see the fireworks. They advertised that there would be food stalls so we didn't bring our own (big mistake)!!!! There were really only two choices of... More

An excellent place for members of the family that aren't ready for the sped and steepness across the street. Food is expensive but good.

It had been 6 years since I had been to Stowe and wow has it changed! The Mansfield side of the mountain is the same and is great for experienced skiers. But, a quick gondolier ride to Spruce Peak opens you up to all new facilities. My husband and I parked on the Mansfield side and took the gondolier to... More

Its a pretty easy hike to get to the top. Good for kids and families. Wasn't too long of a hike and the views were awesome!

We have not skied Spruce Peak for a number of years. We were surprised when we went to Stowe recently. Spruce Peak village is now like being out west in a major ski area. The village and the condos are new and the ski area has been improved with new lifts and trails. This is a great improvement over the... More

The clam chowder in the Great Room at Spruce Peak is outstanding. I also had a customized salad which was huge. Get to the Great Room before noon when the skiers come off the slopes.

420 bucks for a private lesson for 2 people. The mountain does not have the option of just adding 1 person to the private lesson. I paid the same amount for 2 of us to have a lesson as it would have cost for 5 to have the same lesson. Total price gouging

While at Stowe, enjoy a secret adventure that I have enjoyed for 50 years. Spruce Peak has changed over the years, especially the village addition and lift to the Mountain. There is still a secret ski trail at the top of Big Spruce lift that if you are adventurous will make your trip. The name of the trail is "Snuffys"... More

We took the chair lift to the top of the mountain in September and enjoyed the viiw and exploring the mountain top for hours before taking the charpir down. Watched many people are the fast way down by zip line but that wasn't something I am interested in doing!
