Stratton keeps on improving the quality of service and snow making. The 2017-18 Ski Season was a banner year, lots of snow, lifts were in top notch operating order, the village shops were bustling, the shuttles service to remote lots seems to have improved dramatically...More

The snow was great and the hill was challenging n a good way. We're from Northern Vermont (Jay Peak) and were definitely not use to how crowed the place was and how trapped you are in terms of food and access to your vehicle. Things...More

Infrastructure/lifts are outdated and lines are the worst in the East. Nice village and good local restaurants for a solid apres ski. That is of course if you get to ski. Stratton needs to make a real investment in their lifts to keep pace with...More

Skied a few days after rain. Crew makes Stratton fun even with challenging conditions. Numerous high speed detachable chairlifts add to the good times. Awesome day!

There is a lot to love about Stratton Mountain. They make a good amount of snow and they groom really well. The lifts are modern including a gondola and three six packs. There is a very nice village at the base and as much ski-in/ski-out...More

Mountain is great. The trails are nice and wide. I wish they had the scanner machines for ten lift tickets because the lines can get long and annoying waiting but overall great time spent! We got 4 out of 4 days of snow! That’s like...More

You can certainly hike to the top if the gondola is not operating. It takes about an hour to hike up. If it is too much for your kids you could turn around at any point, some will hike to the mid-mountain lodge and return... More

Yes, there are many rental options at the base. Try renting at Obertal if you have a family but make sure the Tamarack chair is operating otherwise you will have to hoof it a few hundred yards to the main base.
