Stopped in here while visiting Burlington. I went on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't too crowded. The tastings are free and had a good selection- including one that can only be purchased at the brewery. I highly recommend walking through the artifactory- either on the tours they offer or self guided. I did self guided (and you can bring... More

We spent all day at Shelburne Museum with our kids and all I wanted by the end of it was a cold beer. Read that the kids could potentially be distracted here while we tasted and it's true... There's a large enough space (but dimly lit) around the bar that houses gift items, and a photo booth in one corner... More

If you like, beer, you should definetly check this place. Free tour through the factory, with information about the brewery. In the end, you can try all their beers. I'll always recomend #9, but it is nice to try the seasonals as well.

The atmosphere was entertaining and snappy, with great free tastings for adults, and enough "fun stuff" to keep little ones occupied while in the bar/tasting/store area. On the tour, there was plenty of information, while the tour pace kept moving. It was lighthearted, informative, enjoyable visit. I'd recommend it highly!

Driving around Burlington, it seems you can throw a rock and hit a brewery. We stopped at Magic Hat. They're very generous, giving about 2 ounces to sample each time with no apparent limit. This day was the day before a big local brew fest, so they not only had their usual offerings but also a couple of new beers... More

We toured the Magic Hat on Thursday, July 14. We were visiting from PA. Everyone at the brewery was extremely nice and friendly. Even a few of the workers down in the factory waved at us. The beer tasting at the end was great. The only bad thing was, my favorite of all the tastes was Bourbon Barrel-aged Wee Heavy... More

We were traveling through Vermont and had to make the stop. The place had very cool vibe. Plenty of merch, nice tasting room, and if you come after hours you can take a self guided tour through the brewery. Real cool and you'll leave with some cases or a growler for later.

A lot of beers to sample and fill a growler of to bring home! Tour was very informative and free! Also a lot of interesting art from local artist for sale as well as magic hat merchandise. Would highly recommend!
