Easy trails. Beautiful and quiet. Trails to left go to lake Champlain beach and picnic area. Good for canoe or kayak launch. Very uncrowded just people walking their dogs.

Red Rocks is a fabulous park. I've heard it was once privately owned by a family with a wheelchair-bound daughter for whom they made the paths. We make sure to go there in the Spring to see the wildflowers: trillium, dutchman's breetches, ladyslippers, etc. The...More

Recently we walked at RedRocks with our leashed puppy, enjoying the extensive canopy of various trees, numerous squirrels and meandering trails through the woods. There were quite a few people there on the sunny Fall afternoon but most of them journeyed toward the beach so...More

Lovely, quiet woods for walking. Beach had ecoli so no entry. Never saw where the red rocks were. For a tourist it was challenging to plan walk as no clear maps at entrance. As you go we encountered some sign posts which looked very new...More

Lovely, uncrowded, wide walking trails. You can stroll to a beach or an overlook; great around sunset (though buggy).

Great place to hike in the shade. Squirrels galore. Some views of the bay are amazing. Busy even on a weekday. All free.

Beautiful trail through forest of tall pine trees. Peaceful place. To get to the lake where we stopped, one has to climb down a rocky hill - not doable for everyone, but the view was wonderful anyway.

Definitely worthy of stopping by and take a picture! It was snowing and gloomy at the we arrived, still beautiful to walk around and take some picture.

My wife and I were attending a conference in the area and visited Red Rocks Park for some hiking. Even with the snow, we found the trail and views both interesting and enjoyable. The one thing that disappointed us was the total disregard of leash...More

Flip-flops are ok for most of the park but if you want to explore the rocky shoreline then snickers would be better. You park right in the park. The park is only 100 acres but it has many different trails so hiking 1 mile is... More
