One of our favorite stops in VT is at the Shelburne Farms store. We love their cheese and specialty gifts. Next up we'll tour the barns and watch cheese making in process. Great fun and a beautiful drive on Harbor Rd.

This is a place to spend at least a day, and to bring the kids. If only all today's kids could experience this place! And they have an Inn on the grounds, which is open to the public! The inn and gardens are incredible, the history of the place is fascinating, and what they do in terms of developing methods... More

Best bet is to get a reservation for dinner and arrive early for a walk around the property with sun set cocktails on the lawn overlooking Lake Champlain. A beautiful property, unspoiled and reserved in time.

Attended the cheese festival here in July 2016. A really fun day, but lots and lots of people for the size area they had set up. Nice folks, good cheese and bread. Beautiful location!

This is not your typical farm. It is spacious and beautiful. Everything is well cared for and everyone very friendly. You can milk a cow and love a piglet. There is also a stunning inn and amazing restaurant . Something for everyone.

We were only here for an hour but you can easily explore this beautiful farm for a whole day. To go into the farm you need to pay 8$ a person which gives you access to all the grounds and a raid on a John Deere tractor. Great area to learn about what goes on a farm and how are... More

We began our tour at the home which is now a high class B&B located on a beautiful spot on Lake Champlain. We then took a guided tour of the farm including the beautiful, old barm which I just learned was destroyed by fire earlier this week--a real tragedy for the farm and surrounding area. Make time to stop and... More

Thanks for your review! Just wanted to clarify that the barn we lost to a lightning strike and subsequent fire was the Old Dairy Barn. While it was a magnificent barn, it was open to the public only through a weekly historic barns tour. The barn you toured was the Farm Barn, the center for our education programs and for... More

We had limited time when visiting friends in VT. There is a small fee to visit, if you are not a resident (If you're a resident, how awesome!) but it's worth it. You can walk/run on so many trails/roads and there are beautiful lake views. There is also a tractor/wagon ride that you can take that brings you back to... More

Our friends who live in Burlington took us here for a brunch while we were visiting with them. They could not have made a better choice for a Sunday brunch! We felt like some celebrities in a movie set......the rooms inside are so elegant, so it was a hard choice where to sit. Since it was a lovely day, we... More
