We stopped on our way up to Montreal. It was a beautiful memorial and I wish we had more time to spend there. Definitely worth seeing. They did an amazing job!

Halfway between Exits 1 & 2 on I-89 northbound is a rest stop/information center that's worth a special stop. Not only does this Welcome Center have the usual traveler amenities, there's free coffee and tea (donation suggested) and much more. Craft displays. Unique greeting cards....More

This started out as a day trip to Stowe, VT, but never know... The rest stop had historical site and innovation for green ideas and a beautiful view of the green mountains...
