Although somewhat interesting, with good furnishings, and a good collection of old paintings, this was not as good an attraction as you might think from the ratings. Would not recommend a special trip to see it. Might be good to combine with a day trip...More

Another place which shows recent American history and community values in a very good light. One can only wish we keep the spirit which made this place.

Take your time here. Enjoy the books, the incredible artwork and of course the woodwork that can only be found in more mature structures. I continue to paint watercolors, but I draw inspiration from the incredible artwork on display.

Be sure to stop by and visit this small Art Gallery in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont. This is a unique gallery for a small town like saint Johnsbury. It has an excellent library also.
