I love libraries, so make it a point to go to the local branch wherever I visit. St. Johnsbury Athenaeum is a gorgeous historic building with a helpful staff. There was an art exhibit available for viewing that we enjoyed.

We absolutely loved visiting the Athenaeum. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We viewed the art gallery, the main library and the children's room. The children's room was built as a part of FDR's WPA and features beautiful painted murals of Heidi and Hiawatha....More
