Wow. This is the first time our dog has ever been off-leash! As soon as we removed the leash, he 'came alive'! He 'romped' around this beautiful countryside and didn't want to leave! It's a breathtaking site & hike. Our dog did not utilize the pond, like the other dogs, but it still was so nice to rest there with... More

Beautiful dog art by a renown "dog" portrayal artist. The store is loaded with unframed and framed art. A must for fans of the artist or dog lovers.

We were surprised at the feeling of warmth and poignancy we felt while visiting Dog Mountain. Any pet owner will be able to relate to the art work and carvings displayed and sold there. Make sure to visit the dog chapel on site for a real tug at your heartstrings.

If you love dogs you must visit! The chapel is a beautiful legacy built in honor of our beloved companions. It is so unique with all the wood carvings and beautiful artwork alone! The landscape is breathtaking! Then there are the notes pinned up all over- handwritten by visitors from near and far. Definitely worth a visit!

Dog Mountain is one of the coolest places I have ever been to. This unique farm was run by Vermont artists Stephen and Gwen Huneck, who specialized in wood carvings and art focused mostly on dogs. Stephen Huneck's work is included in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian, the Dog Museum of America, and the American Kennel club. The farm... More

Fun for people, too, but the dogs are ecstatic. Nice trails to walk on, benches to sit while dogs play. Definitely visit the chapel.

On a visit to friends, Lori, Miss Tahoe (a dog), and I visited Dog Mountain. Even in fall, the setting is beautiful, and Miss Tahoe enjoyed that she could wander leash-free throughout the grounds and in the buildings. Dog Mountain is a gift from artist Stephen Huneck and his wife, Gwen, and includes Dog Chapel, a memorial homage to the... More

My dad took me there on a sunny day and I was so impressed on seeing all the furniture made with dog heads and beautiful pictures of the dogs. The chapel right next to the dog shop is amazing all of these people that lost a dog or even a cat put up small post-it notes. I just can't describe... More
